Democrats definitely own this disaster. But I will never forgive George W. Bush and Republicans for the "no negotiation" provision of Medicare Part D, and I will never forgive Barack Obama and Democrats for maintaining the status quo when they had the perfect opportunity to repeal and replace that provision with something more advantageous to taxpayers.
It's a disgrace, and it needs to pointed out repeatedly until this malfeasance is corrected.
Democrats and liberals, what do you have to say about this? For all the love and slobber put forth for Obamacare, and all the hatred you've had for Bush's Medicare Part D, surely you have something to say about this abomination, right?
He's urged Congress to take action on this, he has said he would sign the bill if passed, and the Senate has even passed a bill allowing drug prices to be negotiated by the government just like every store does. Naturally, the corrupt Republicans in the house haven't allowed it to pass.
This is the power of lobbyists who can literally throw unlimited amounts of cash at politicians. Both parties have been corrupted by this mountain of bribes but, in this particular example, it is the Republicans who are obviously corrupt and acting against the best interests of the country and its taxpayers.
So, this President campaigned on changing Medicare Part D to allow negotiation of prescription drug prices, because Big Bad George W. Bush didn't know what the hell he was doing, but when it comes to Barack Obama's healthcare reform, the idea of negotiating prescription drug prices to save taxpayer money was something Barack Obama was no longer interested in?
Can someone, anyone tell me again why we shouldn't consider Barack Obama worthless by every measure?
My prescription prices have gone down with my ACA Policy.
Doesn't matter. You, as a taxpayer (presumably), are getting shellacked by Big Pharma. And your President, the one you slobber over relentlessly, made it possible by law to shellack you.
