when I hear the word icon Kanye West hardly comes to mind, not even close. also he is hardly the typical black democrat, Kanye is a rich guy. the typical black democrat is not rich and don't have the platform to use like Kanye. His antics help him sell records.

You think one rapper musician making an anti-Bush remark during a concert makes him a liberal icon and racist (excuse me, but isn't his fiance white?) That would make the Dixie Chicks liberal icons also. Let's see who else--I guess most of Hollywood, Bruce Springsteen--wow an endless list of liberal icons. But don't fret. There are also those conservative icons Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, Kelsy Grammar, Meatloaf and, apparently, Taylor Swift (who knew?). So are they "typical white Republicans and racists?

Generalize much?

Just because he is liberal doesn't mean we (liberals) want him. He is a raging narcissist who really needs to go away and take the Kardashians with him.

What kills me is people throwing out a title they created so they can tear the person down.

Obama is a Messiah and Kanye is a liberal icon. Lol

Kanye and the cop

Let's see one guy became rich through our wonderful free enterprise system and the other makes his living off of the public dole.

The liberal icon and vocal Obama supporter Kanye West actually compared to what he does to fighting in a war or being a police officer. Here is a police chief's response.

We must keep in mind that Kanye West and Beyoncé are much beloved by the liberal base while Taylor Swift whom they ridiculed on stage is more beloved by the non-Obama base. Here we see the cultural and moral differences very clearly.
Are you REALLY silly enough to believe Kanye West is a "liberal icon"?

I guess it would partly explain the right's lack of contact with reality, eh?

BTW, I hear the right holding up Ted Nugent as a shining example of a real 'Murican far more often than I hear the left doing the same with West and we ALL know what 'ol Ted did as far as fighting for his country, eh?

HINT: Urine and feces were involved

Kanye West is a liberal icon? Since when?
Every liberal I know can't stand him. He's nothing more than a bloviating narcissist.
Liberal icon, my azz!

His video with Kim is the worst thing I have ever seen.
