I'm genuinely curious as to what the conservative posters have to offer here.

I ask that I get serious answers on this one as I will be posing the same question to the liberal posters of this forum later on. I also ask that we respect each others opinions even if we might not agree with them.

Foreign policy=friends and trading partners with all, allies with none. Domestic policy=freedom and responsibility for citizens. ie no "war" on anything. These are the overall basics, its the minutia in getting there thats the tough stuff.

limited government, small amount of or no taxes, government stays out of everything not allowed for by the Constitution and bill of Rights. government follows the Constitution and Bill of Rights as written, not as how they want to interpret it.

states rights rule and any department not allowed for by the Constitution is left to the states.

small army except in a time of war approved by congress.

the peoples rights are more important than the governments right to govern.

that's kind of weird considering the US Constitution isn't a blueprint for everything that government can and can't do.

How is the government abusing the Constitution right now?

So, if a person cannot afford health insurance and gets cancer, what should society do(if anything) to help this person?

The same as the person who has cancer and because of Obamacare their insurance was terminated and now they can't afford insurance. Too bad for them, they make too much to get help but not enough to afford insurance they once paid for.

don't change the subject. We're talking about the ideal conservative society. What happens to the cancer patient that doesn't have insurance?
