Yanno, I always liked Oprah, and thought she was an extremely intelligent, thoughtful and concerned person.
However, let it be known, that I'm sick to death and tired of people using the race card. Enough is enough, and Oprah, I certainly had given you way more credit then this.
I've come to realize, those who are using the race card, are those who are perhaps a bit racist themselves, otherwise, why would that pop into their head. Obama is not a good president, period, and I voted for him in his first term, but he did nothing accomplished nothing, and surely did nothing about our deficit, so I didn't vote for him again, mainly b/c he didn't come thru with the promises he made.
But this, Oprah, please, defending a corrupt government....we all know you supported him and put a ton of money into his campaign. So, please, don't sell yourself short by using the race card, when in fact, Obama is a bad President.
Because there's nothing else to use.
When you can't defend bad actions but refuse to admit they were bad actions then out comes the mud slinging.
well, ya gotta admit, republicans do the same thing....
some how people have got to wake up and smell the roses, and stop, defending a corrupt government.
Honestly I was shocked at Oprah, b/c I always held her in high regard, thought she was a fair minded person, but, apparently not...yanno, in times like these, the realness comes out of people.

I think she's way too proud to admit she got suckered in by a grifter. I would be STUNNED if Oprah ever did anything but defend Obama.
The race card -- like Oprah and Obama -- is played out and tired.
Liberals are desperate at this point. They elected a coward and a liar, who has been exposed, so they have nothing left but to lean on claims of racism to defend their colossal mistake.

Then please explain why half of Conservatives think Obama is lying about being a Muslim and a socialist?
Irrelevant. Barack Obama is a bald face liar. This is now a known fact. Whether he's lying about his religion or his ideology is irrelevant. When you can't trust the President of the United States, then it really doesn't matter what he says to refute his critics. There's not much he could say at this point that people would believe. That's the price he pays for being a known and habitual liar.
Ever since her show ended, she has been trying to get attention from other arenas. Playing the race card is one of them. As with all race baiters, I ignore them.

Riiight... This trend started as soon as he was elected and only got worse, so there goes your idea that he "earned" that distrust. But please keep telling us that his race plays no part in Conservatives believing he's lying about being Muslim and a socialist. Or that he's really an American.
Or maybe Glen Beck was right and Obama just hates White culture...
