Well, it's good to know one American believes that. Think of what what that 24 billion that was wasted could have done for this country. Good job, Tea Party. Keep on with that fiscal conservation.

You mean the $24B that was spent during the shut down that saved probably hundreds of billions?

If not, please tell me how shutting the government down, cost $24B more than had it stayed open..

If you ask for 20 bucks from your Dad, and he says, "What did you do to deserve it?" and you're reply is, "I'm not going to do anything." "Then, hey, all Dad's fault.

That kind of reasoning is kind of neat. Watching people trying to game the game at the end, and failing miserably, was kind of fun though. When Fox News says what you are doing is stupid... and they are on your team.....maybe you just might want to...who am I kidding here, these people are beyond help.

Our government - both sides - looks like little kids fighting.

Ted Cruz is correct once again.

It was Obama and Reid that said there would be no compromise, I will not negotiate... shut it down.

What was cruz's compromise? I think I missed that one.

"I think it was absolutely a mistake for President Obama and Harry Reid to force a government shutdown," Cruz said during an interview with ABC's "This Week" at the infamous Capitol Hill restaurant Tortilla Coast.
Before the shutdown, Cruz prepared to blame Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) for the government closing if the Democrat refused to negotiate with Cruz on an Obamacare repeal.

Oh. A repeal. Nice "compromise." Yeah, not sure why Obama wouldn't agree to that "compromise."

The compromising bills were coming left and right out of the House.... Ted is a Senator.

Then by executive dictatorship Obama does it and changes the law by fiat, just like many of the compromises had.
