They did have alternatives, but Democrats, who held majority, locked Republicans out of talks.

If you are upset about not having UHC, blame the Dems. They 100% of the votes needed to pass healthcare reform, and Obamacare is what they chose to implement.

Why anyone would trust a government who can't build a working website in 3 years with a half billion dollars to handle their healthcare is beyond me, but if that's you preference, you should contact all the Dems who voted for Obamacare and express your displeasure.

Being that Republicans recognized the need for HC reform going back to the days of Nixon, they haven't exactly been very productive in acting, have they?
