If the dead guy lived by your motto he'd be alive today.
Look Edward, if you or someone else acted like a crybaby and ran to a movie theatre person for texting (which to me is NOT disruptive or distracting anyone else) I probably would have been like "WTF" as well!
An argument in a Tampa movie theater over texting during a preview ended with the texter and his wife being shot. An annoyed man behind them went looking for a manger, then came came back and shot them with a pistol. The shooter was detained by other patrons until police arrived. The witness doesn't mention race. The dying man's last words were "I can't believe...."

during the previews/commercials no less.
I guess that NRA poster-boy REALLY wanted to see a trailer of Chick Flick
Here's the thing I think many on here are missing and that would be "what actually happened". Not just first reports full of shock value and eyeball grabbing gore.
Maybe it's time to actually see how this plays out and actually wait for ALL the information to come out before a rush to judgement one way or another?
Didn't the Zimmerman kerfuffle teach us anything??
Yes, we don't know all the facts in detail yet. But nothing in the detail we have left to learn would change a word of what I said.
Add a gun to a human stupidity scenario and bad things happen that wouldn't otherwise. I have little doubt that the deceased was probably being an ***hole and that most of us would have had an animal impulse to throw a left hook at him. But nothing we have heard so far comes close to justifying shooting him.
Shouldn't have happened and wouldn't have happened but for our mindless gun culture.

Reason: Removed extra word
I think never start a fight is best and just retreat(yes that really is the best word) from one because the outcome may alter lives. Fighting only necessary in defence of self or loved ones when there is a clear violent threat without provocation.
