I don't understand this. Journalism isn't supposed to take political sides.

Because journalists like digging up dirt on people in general. Christie has brought that all on himself and it is starting to catch up with him.

Right. Look how hard they worked to dig up every little facet of Obama's past, Hillary's past, Bill Clinton's past, Wendy Davis' past, John Kennedy's past, Teddy's past (the list goes on and on).....

When you liberals set out to lie about someone, you really pick some doozies, don't you?
You obviously haven't been paying attention then. All the people you mention (with the possible exception of teddy because i am not sure who exactly you are referring to) have had their past torn up and examined at LENGTH. I know more about their dirty laundry then I do my owns sisters!

Why is the liberal press digging up Christie's past?
They are in a feeding frenzy and have no other news to report despite events to the contrary.

Why is the press going after the NJ Governor non-stop?

The answer is simple - there is no greater issue in the USA or the World today than traffic cones on a bridge. We absolutely need to get to the bottom of this AND all other "news" should and MUST be suspended until we do.

He is a presidential hopeful and they want to discredit him.

The liberals are afraid of Christie.. they have to take him down.... Anyone who poses a threat to the power of the democrats is smeared to an incredible degree. Sarah Palin was and anyone who gains power in the Republican party is smeared... Look at Allen West, Herman Cain and anyone who was seeking to advance themselves in the Republican party.

The liberals are the best dirt throwers and the media just fuels it.. it is laughable about a bridge closing that got so much air play and ran the story over and over till anyone can see it was bias reporting by the liberal media.

Anything Obama does gets a day at best and usually with words the media takes out any importance as they tell the American people that Obama is still a great guy and gives the attitude it is no big deal.

Not with the people like Christie.. No the media run it into the ground as if the worst offense was committed.

And as usual Obama gets a pass on Bengazi, fast and furious where people lost their lives, and the IRS scandals.. and of course a pat on the head to Obama for being a great president.

When did Christie get immunity from being vetted? The Romney campaign dropped him like hot potato after digging into his past. Clearly, you have not kept up with this ever deepening and incriminatimg story because if you had, it's plain to see that this is not just the closing of a bridge for political vengeance, which is bad enough in its abuse of power, but the revelations of what seems to be a truly corrupt administration. If Christie still manages to become a candidate in 2016, do you really believe that he will not or should not be scrutinized?
