I think our elected officials are over paid and underworked and are out of touch with reality. I think if they got a 2/3 pay cut and we banned the special interest groups and lobbyist from Washington that maybe our elected officials would listen to the people that voted for them and start doing things that benefit us the people that pay their salaries. Unless the special interest groups and lobbyist would like to pay our elected officials salary and inherit the national debt along with paying for day to day expenses.
I see nothing wrong with this. If Congress can vote themselves a raise after years of doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, then I say CONGRATULATIONS to those who actually put in the hours of actual work.
And it doesn't do anything this year anyway. It would only have effect on 2015 contracts, and only on new contracts, not ones that are renewing.
This is a symbolic move that does nothing for anyone. He's just trying to give some cover for Dems for the disaster that is Obamacare.

this is fraud on his part, he has lost a great deal of support by the American public, and so, the powers that be, have instructed him to do this so the Democratic Party is voted in again in 2016.

Have you seen a federal contract? This Exe Order effects absolutely no one what so ever. Today there is no one on a federal contract making less than $15 per hour.
Here in a non-union state, the illegal alien laborers on the federal contracts make $22 an hour.

yes, maybe so, but think about it, what are the ripple effects of this, go beyond today and think about what this could bring about tomorrow....and I'm not saying no other President did this, however, Obama has been doing this way to many times....I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying, there is another way of looking at this....you cannot continue to overstep and ignore rules and laws, you cannot. The ripple effects of that can be extremely devestating.
And I believe that is what most people think, it's not the fact that he raised it, it is in fact, how he did it, which goes against the grain....
