Was just reading about something along these lines and noticed this;

a variety of misdemeanor charges ranging from hunting feral pigs at night

Complaints of false arrest, entrapment,

And I thought to myself....we hunt crack dealers at night. Hell, people get paid for that. And they're not tearing up my garden.

You might also glean from that article how they seized a ski loader. They must've been killing a lot of pigs. Pigs that destroy everything they touch.

Imagine if you couldn't bust a crack dealer at night because that's just their natural way of doing things and you are using horrible tactics to get the job done.

ROFL..government agents actually killed 6 out of the 10 bears used for evidence.

More times than not the government agents should be guilty of the crimes they go undercover to solve.

These strong arm tactics are nothing new. Used by the DEA, ATF, FBI and the IRS. The Fed would have us believe that everyone they do it too are bad people.

You have to check your state laws. You are in Virginia and you can hunt hogs at night. Georgia (location of the article), you can hunt at night but not feral hogs.

A 50 State Guide - Is night vision legal to use for hunting in my State ?

Here in MS, can't do it either. But I can go to my in-law's farm in Arkansas and night hunt them without a license.

As with everything, don't believe everything you read on the 'net. Confirm it with the state's game and fish department.

We have hunted hogs at night for decades, because they are nocturnal.
We have hunted coons at night for decades, because they are nocturnal.
We have hunted possums at night for decades, because they are nocturnal.
We have chased armadillos at night for decades, because it is fun.... Here hold my beer!
