I don't think that's a big deal. I doubt the parents are required to even answer the question. I'm sure it's voluntary.

It's none of their business what sexual preferences parents have.

The first thing should be the schools should be required to publish the sexual preferences, medical history and all criminal records for teachers, school administration and custodial staff and anyone else who might possibly come in contact with students.
