It is troublesome to think that these are the people we trust with our children and their futures. These people present the most compelling argument for those who homeschool.
I doubt that anyone wanting to commit crimes at a school sees a gun banned sign as a green light. That is just ridiculous.
I'd agree with you but the feds so believe in the effectiveness of signe they have mandated everthing be labeled for our safety. Ciggy packs to ladders and matresses...all there for us to read and get salvation from our own stupidity. What do I know, Someone must be reading all those signs and labels, otherwise why would ther feds spend so much taxpayer money legislalting them?
If Edu was so concerned about childrens' safety they would have a firearm safety course in school just as they have health, sex ed, drug, fire and driving courses. Classic case of, how do you say?, blind stupidity.
Wonder no more about the legend of the ostrich hiding his head in the sand....the ostriches went to school and learned it from our educators and legislators.....
there are still some modern cultures and tribes where certain words or names are forbidden to be spoken for the evil that will follow.....the ancient tradition of ghosts and goblins is alive and well in our portals of social justice, formerly known as schools.
And these professional educators want to have our children in their custody for more hours in a bid for an extended school day...and extra pay. the extra pay part was primary to the fairy tale that more class time would result in snmarter students. That is certainly a viable theory but falls short if precedent is considered re current edu accomplishments...but i digress.
