Imus Returns To Airwaves On Monday

BOSTON -- A group of black community leaders angry with the decision to bring back Don Imus protested at WTKK-FM's office Friday, three days before the radio host returns to the airways after being fired for making racist and sexist comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team.

A group of black leaders are protesting. . . Let me guess, the usual suspects. . . Rev Al Sharpton and Rev Jessie Jackson?

Default Imus is Back

Don Imus is returning to the air today. Any thoughts? I wonder if Al Sharpton is picketing outside the studio as we speak?

I wonder if they are protesting in front of any radio stations that play rap music that spouts more negative verbage about blacks and women per minute than Imus did in over 20 years on the radio....

I think it's all very simple:

If I want to hear what he has to say I'll tune in

If I don't.............I won't

Don't "black leaders" have anything better to protest? I can think of a few just off the top of my head.

Personally, I'm glad Imus is back -

The only reason he had a problem in the first place is, some people are just too up tight, lack a sense of humor and are just too dern "policitcally correct"

The good news is that they came out with a new invention for people who are all uptight about certain radio or television programming. It's called a dial (wow, that's a dated term now that I write it) or button... don't like what you're hearing to seeing, push it until you do.
