After a spate of large-scale cyberattacks on large retailers, Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder Jr. urged Congress to adopt a national standard for notifying consumers of a security breach.

Holder said creating such a law would bolster the Justice Department’s ability to combat crimes and hold organizations accountable for failing to protect private information.

The hypocrisy of the fascists is simply unending, so I'm sorry to show you yet another mere example out of the countless of frauds against the American public by the big brother state.

I wonder if Eric would go after AT&T and others for giving private citizen data over to the NSA , and others, without a warrent , and without notifiying each private citizen that their information has been given to the government without their consent.

It seems that Eric does not want to fight the fraud, criminals, in the government, and only wants to go after private business.

May history have mercy on these evil people who abuse their power and do nothing to fight the real evils of our time, but actively try to cover up the truth.

So, was the point of your rant that businesses should hide when personal information has been compromised?

That there are already laws on the books regarding that businesses must notify people about issues like this, in 46 states...

However, Holder likely wants businesses to SHUT THE **** UP, and do so or risk going to jail, if they speak out when the gov't/nsa/dhs getting bulk records /data on clients WITHOUT WARRANTS.

Don't you see the hypocrisy?

The gov't can data breach anyone whenever they want, in whatever means they want, and Holder will NEVER prosecute them. However, Holder wants to be able to prosecute businesses that were victims themselves of data breaches, for not following a likely 1000 page new bill / law from the feds to the exact letter, letting the clients know they were data breached.

In the gov't case, the data breachers are the criminals, and they work for the gov't that is corrupt.

Holder thinks this is OK since he thinks he and his cronies are above the law.

In the business case, the business is NOT the data breachers. Some hackers are the data breachers/criminals. And instead of punishing the criminals, Holder wants to punish the business for not following a 1000 page law/manual to the exact 'T.

If the "Black Pastors" have a problem with AG Holder they need to look elsewhere as his marching orders on social issues come from elsewhere.
