This is where our endless parade of lies, manipulations and deceptions has led us: to a future of more lies, manipulations and deceptions because untruth is a black hole; once our first manipulation pushes us past the event horizon, there is no way back to honesty, accountability and factual reporting.
Corporate controlled, manufactured "news" in US is thriving in a dumbed down culture today. Very sad.
How many Americans know the number of households that don't have ONE SINGLE person working? 20 million!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My parents aren't working and are the only people in their household. They are retired and living off of investments and business income. It's possible that there are others like them.
And there are a lot of armchair astronomists that have no idea how our monetary system works and how quantitative easing is destroying the future of millions of Americans. There are armchair astronomists that can't grasp the simple concept of inflation and how the endless printing of money out of thin air will cause more harm to their children's future than whether or not their children realize the Earth revolves around the sun. I get the point........but there are much bigger fish to fry in this day and age. How many armchair astronomists really understand the inner workings of the Federal Reserve or the Plunge Protection Team. The dangers of high frequency trading, naked short selling?
Uh, astronomy is a real science.
