Personally I could care less if you are gay or not. It is none of my business. But marriage? Marriage is a religious ceremony that the government commandeered to gain control and make money.
Well, many Republicans are crossing from social conservatism to social liberalism, and they support gay marriage, drug legalization, immigration, and they are not talking about Christian values etc. These are views / actions which in the past were strictly liberal / leftist. Most have not taken the leap about abortion yet (thank goodness), but that too is only a matter of time. The libertarian leaning faction of the GOP seem to like this trend, because they believe the younger voters would be attracted to it.

I know teachers that make over 100k , many regular police offers that make 100k , and MANY middle class people that make over 100k close to 200k.

A lot of small business owners are middle class people as well.

By the way this country needs the Tea party , the left and right have gone off the grid with their old stupid extreme ideas that are ****.
Per capita only 6% of Americans earn 100K or more. 75% earn less than 50K. I doubt anyone would call earning 200K rich, but earning over 100K means you are earning more than 94% of Americans.

The middle class can't be only 6% of the country, only 25% even earn 50K or more. The percentages rise a bit when you have two earners, but they are still low if 100K is middle class, around 18% of households.

Should the Constitution really need only one party to defend it.
Liberty is not about Liberal Democrat or Conservative Republican.

Liberty should not need to have a party in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Most Libertarians that I know (and including myself) support abortion up until the point of viability, or to save the life of the mother thereafter. That of course doesn't mean that most of us personally agree with it, because we don't; but it's not our business to decide that for everyone else and that's the point. As far as I'm concerned, if somebody wants to peer -- or climb -- into my wife's womb for any reason other than those she has authorized, they had better have their affairs in order.

The more they mention Clintons affairs the better. The liberals love candidates with shaky morals.

Little things. Don't go off on how a rape victim can magically stop herself from getting pregnant. Don't start talking about birthcontrol as if is something government is forcing you at gun point to take.

The GOP is stupid, and has been stupid, and its why they haven't won the white house because of the little things they have to say to not totally upset their base.

Change just those two things I mentioned first, and your base would grow, and the base that would be upset aren't going to vote democratic, thats for damned sure.
The problem with the GOP is their Southern base. The GOP is losing power in highly populated states, and I have a feeling that 2016's electoral map will look similar to 2012's. With their Southern, backwards, reactionary voters having the loudest voices, they have little to no shot at the presidency or the Senate. They'll continue to do well in their House districts, but will fare increasingly poorly in at-large elections

Who said it needs a party? Liberalism and conservatism are not parties, and neither view own "freedom". Both claim to be lovers of freedom. However, when it comes to issues like drug legalization, which some people think is "freedom", then there should be a debate, because such "freedoms" may give the freedom of the individual to consume narcotics, but such freedom ALWAYS invites crime, so their freedom will erode the freedoms of others. We need to be careful how far you want to take the "freedom" march. Same with legalized prostitution. Some argue people should be able to sell their bodies, but again, this ALWAYS invites human trafficking and other organized crime, which erodes the freedoms of others.

Individual freedom is a great thing as long as it does not:

1. Infringe on freedoms of others
2. Disrupt domestic tranquility
3. Erode the welfare of the nation as whole

Both parties are owned by the one percent.

Until that is no longer the case, no party will represent the interests of the middle class.

And the more they mention Clinton`s affair the more people will realize that the GOP has zero electable presidential candidates. NONE! A party well on it`s way to extinction.
