I'm surprised CNN kept P.M. on as long as they did. What were they thinking, replacing the well-respected Larry King with a disgraced British 'journalist' who knows nothing about U.S. culture, history, or politics?

"People who tune in cable news are, by nature, deeply interested in America".... What in Sam's Hill is this supposed to mean? If anything, people who watch cable news are more interested in international news. A long time ago CNN used to be very good at that. Now, as Ukraine explodes, CNN prefers to do a cooking show.
Now that we've established Clarkson doesn't like him...
So, at least one Brit I happen to like a little doesn't want him returned.
Perhaps CNN should send him over to do undercover work in Kiev.
I love Jeremy to death but his hate for Piers is so stupid, he actually punched him once and in a separate incident he threw water on him... how classy, the people who i hate to death i just ignore them and pretend they don't exist, if i see them in person i don't acknowledge their existence even if they say something smarta-- to me
There have been times when the CNN host Piers Morgan didn’t seem to like America very much — and American audiences have been more than willing to return the favor. Three years after taking over for Larry King, Mr. Morgan has seen the ratings for “Piers Morgan Live” hit some new lows, drawing a fraction of viewers compared with competitors at Fox News and MSNBC.
It’s been an unhappy collision between a British television personality who refuses to assimilate — the only football he cares about is round and his lectures on guns were rife with contempt — and a CNN audience that is intrinsically provincial. After all, the people who tune into a cable news network are, by their nature, deeply interested in America.
I am sure he understands that if he cannot attract viewers, then he won't last long. The anti-gun rants drove away more people than brought in.
