It's truly sad to be living through & watching the decline of a once great nation thanks to the left:

THE WORK ETHIC WE INHERITED GROWING UP HAS FALLEN PREY TO THE
'WELFARE' SYSTEM

The Cato Institute released an updated 2013 study (original
study in 1955) showing that welfare benefits pay more than a
minimum wage job in 33 states and the District of Columbia.
Even worse, welfare, pays more than $15 per hour in 13 states.
[MOD CUT/copyright violation]
I think we found where the cuts should be made!

The cuts should be made to military spending and nothing else.
We are robbing Americans of jobs with automation and outsourcing and yet all of our taxes are being wasted for military use.
War is too costly for America.
Cutting military spending and focusing on American jobs for Americans is the most patriotic thing to do.

I agree to a point as long as there's no more increased spending but used to reduce our national debt.

Did you mean to post this in a different thread? I didn't see anything about military spending in the OP.

Everyone would agree with you, except the selfish traitors in Washington who get to actually decide how our money is spent.

It should be obvious that the only way to get Big Government to spend our money wisely, is to go back to the system that does not allow them to confiscate very much in the first place, and NOTHING from the working class. The income tax is so inherently wrong that the Founding Fathers placed a prohibition on it in the Constitution.

Average Salary of Soldier DEPLOYED IN
AFGHANISTAN ... $38,000

You can start right there with that and you know the rest of the post is BS. The average salary is more like $100,000 and its tax free. The average military salary with benefits is $92,000 per year. Ever notice that if you live around a military base that the people in the service live in nicer housing and drives nicer cars than you do? Military salaries and benefits are twice what the average person gets.

Thats interesting I worked on military base for about 24 years and I never saw anyone driving a mercedes.

Anyways keep bashing our military service people. We know you on the left despise them whether you want to admit or not.

Jobs? We still need jobs? I thought everyone has now been freed to follow their dreams, enjoy a hobby, join an artists' colony...or just plain stay home. Nobody HAS to work anymore, now that Obamacare has set them free from a job.

No, creating jobs for the people is no longer the most patriotic thing to do. Celebrating leisure and "worklessness" is most patriotic.

Our taxes would be wasted for job creation. Who would fill those jobs? Try to keep up, please.

Politicians like Pelosi and Reid aren't even worth half of what they make.
