You brought up Christie, if he hadn't committed criminal acts then the media wouldn't have reported about his law breaking. It's as simple as that so stop trying to shoot the messenger and realize the problem is your message.
I used to think that, but then I saw what happened to "Joe the Plumber" for speaking to Obama at a campaign event in '08. The guy was eviscerated, his private tax records were exposed by the local tax office. Basically his whole life was published by national news organizations, good and bad, for asking a question at a rally. So, I don't think we're the ones who are gullible.

Obama has said some pretty stupid things during campaign events (been to 57 states so far) and never got called on it. Rick Perry was traveling the country in non-stop campaign mode and forgot something at the debate, but he'll never hear the end of it. I'm no Rick Perry fan, but there IS a difference between the way candidates are portrayed in the media. To think otherwise is naïve.

Oh, and Christy deserves everything he's getting. Deliberately using the government power he has to get back at political enemies is no better than what the IRS has done to conservative groups.

Obama never published anything, as editor of the Harvard Law Review.

Obama claimed to be a Constitutional Law Professor. He wasn't. He was a lecturer, period. And he didn't teach Constitutional Law at all.

The man cannot speak without a teleprompter. He is not a good speaker at all. He's a lousy speaker (for one thing, too many "ah's", "and ah's" and all the stuttering of an amateur. Then he slips into that phoney ghetto dialect when he has the right audience.

He doesn't speak to the American people. He lectures us.

He is a complete and utter ignoramus. Period.

Yes but he did pick Joe Biden as a running mate. That took a lot of smarts.

For the same reason that everyone else who has attended a college or university in the US has a sealed transcript.

Well, yes, he was the editor.

Okay, now you're just claiming falsehoods.

We've all seen him speak without any prepared remarks. He does fine. The end.

You'd think people would give up on these pathetic, "arguments" after nearly six years, but nope.

Ehm - that was in May 2008, almost six years ago, and we still haven't heard the end of it.

Following a standing ovation at his address to the standing-room-only crowd, Dr. Ben Carson said that the current state of our government and institutions are “very much like Nazi Germany.” Carson says, “You had the government using its tools to intimidate the population. We now live in a society where people are afraid to say what they actually believe.”

Carson warns that our country is in a precarious position, and that political correctness coupled with government intimidation prevents open and honest dialogue. He went on to say that this state of our culture is “creating a horrible schism that will destroy our nation.”

I really do respect Ben Carson for what he has accomplished in his life, but the man is a complete idiot when it comes to politics.

These statements are embarrassing for such an educated person. SMH

One thing Carson said that really struck me is that more people with science backgrounds should get into politics instead of lawyers because scientists are trained in finding solutions to problems whereas lawyers are trained to win at all costs. He's absolutely right about that.
Lawyers are crooks..........always have been always will be...........and yet most pol's are lawyers. Now I don't know if he is on the hit list next..........but the media has one and will decimate anybody who runs against Hillary. Just watch. Democrat primary or not don't matter.

From the University of Chicago Law School:

"From 1992 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004, Barack Obama served as a professor in the Law School. He was a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996. He was a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004, during which time he taught three courses per year. Senior Lecturers are considered to be members of the Law School faculty and are regarded as professors, although not full-time or tenure-track. The title of Senior Lecturer is distinct from the title of Lecturer, which signifies adjunct status. Like Obama, each of the Law School's Senior Lecturers has high-demand careers in politics or public service, which prevent full-time teaching. Several times during his 12 years as a professor in the Law School, Obama was invited to join the faculty in a full-time tenure-track position, but he declined."

From the University of Chicago Law School Alumni Magazine:

"By 1993, Obama was teaching Current Issues in Racism and the Law—a class he designed—and added Constitutional Law III in 1996.

'In Con Law III we study equal process and due process. He was incredibly charismatic, funny, really willing to listen to student viewpoints—which I thought was very special at Chicago,' says Elysia Solomon, ’99. 'There were so many diverse views in the class and people didn’t feel insecure about voicing their opinions. I thought that he did a really good job of balancing viewpoints.”
