I'm atheist and a Dad, and I would permit my kids to entertain a significant other in their room, if it was legally permissible (as in this case it would be) and if they were safe and responsible.

An enraged father is waving a gun and confronts his daughter about having sex , what do you expect her to say, yeah dad, I was banging him, now shoot us both.
You cannot beat someone up for sleeping with your daughter.
And the funny thing is I remember when I was a teenage boy. I remember what I did. I know what my friends told me they did. I know what my uncles told me they did when they were teens, etc on so on.
I am 100% certain that the vast majority of American men as teens tried to have sex within another teenager's parents home.
The idea that death is the proper punishment for that behavior is insanity.

There is a thin line between radical Muslims and radical Christians. They share a lot of social views.
He was innocent of nothing. He snuck into another man's home at 2 am knowing that it wasn't okay. That is why he snuck in. His ignorance and stupidity led to a confrontation. His disrespect for another man's home led to a confrontation.
The owner isn't innocent. He is a fellow idiot and obviously his daughter under estimated her father's reaction.
Willing to bet he didn't sneak in at 2 am. He was probably there for hours prior.
Again, gotta wonder what is going on in that house that the younger brother goes to wish his sister goodnight at/around 2 am.
That, in and of itself, sounds pretty fishy to me.
Prime example of how the little games girls like to play can lead to disastrous consequences for boys. Father will not face any charges.
