When there is a gun in the hand of a person whose emotions are running wild, these things happen....as in the Florida theater incident. Just another needless tragedy and yet another illustration that a gun in the home is more likely to bring you grief than protection.

He was protecting his daughter.

This hopefully will encourage idiots not to sneak into a house for whatever reason.

Exodous 20:13 "Thou shalt not kill. " After readijng this thread I really wonder if this simple statement means anything to most Americans. This killer should burn in Hell.

There was no proof that any money was exchanged.

Usually, kids at that age don't need money.

One euphemism for hormones is, romance.

IF someone invites you into their house, how is that trespassing? You are not allowed to kill guests in your home especially if there was no crime being committed. Either the father or daughter have to go down for this.

After 911 was called they got into an argument, and I believe he did it out of anger. Only because a father knows what type of daughter he has. I wonder what the daughter's side of the story is. The daughter stood by her lie even when the dad had a gun pointed at the boy. I hope she feels guilty and responsible for his death.

I am sure she does. The father as well.

A 16 year old does not have the authority over her parents regarding the house and who is allowed into said house.

What's the age of consent for boys in Texas?
