Most of the "new" species that are found are not really new, they are newly discovered species..Big difference..... As for extinctions it is estimated by experts to be between 1,000 and 10,000 times higher than the natural extinction rate.
Yous should be happy then. We kill more and more the planet may just cool down a bit.
Well we kill all the cows and bovine creatures no methane...........from their farts. Right? At least that is what I have been told by globals. And just make humans extinct and all will be very well according to you folks. So get on with it........you start the party yourself.
Reading that so called report its obvious that NASA needs to be looked at. it reads like a political blog ;not something the space agency should be spending taxpayer money on. they need to stick to business rather than writing political blogs on other matters :IMO.One can find a lot of other studies that do not agree by leading scientist.Stick to what you do is my opinion and if you want to do other then go there.

Please, explain the difference. When the horse was discovered, it wasn't technically a "new" species. It was newly discovered and therefore considered "new". Same with pretty much every other species that we now consider commonplace, considering that most of them predate mankind on the evolutionary tree. All of those "new" species that were discovered by Darwin in the Galapagos weren't actually "new", as they had existed prior to him arriving there. But the world sure went crazy over all of those new species, didn't they?
Although, if the power grids are not brought up to date, we may all be living life much differently.
