Rahm Emanuel and the Politics of Race in Chicago

A Democrat congress critter and friend of Pres Obama speaks for segregation and racism.

Quote:
Davis said it was “just kind of natural” for people to rally behind a candidate of their own color or ethnicity. He drew an example from his boyhood on a farm in Arkansas. “When I went into the barnyard,” he explained later during an interview, “I never saw a chicken leading a group of turkeys.”
I have yet to hear the Democratic denouncement of this. I guess they are a-ok with segregationism now.

That article is almost three years old.

And it doesn't advocate segregation of the population. It is simply an article about the realities of politics - which can't escape race issues.

Yes but the guy who said it is still in office. And yes he advocates segregation of political alignment along racial lines, clearly and overtly.

This is not a problem????

I don't know where anyone would get segregation from the article

I don't agree with voting for someone based on their race or background, but to call it segregation is stupid

Yeah, that might have something to do with the fact that your post is a lie.

President Lincoln said something very similar. The man that ended slavery.

Something to the effect that we are all free people, but we are not the same.

I prefer to say 'I misspoke,' but say did you chime in on this one?
Republican says all blacks in US should be rounded up and forcably relocated.

Or is it just when a conservative puts on a dog and pony show that your outrage takes flight?

this is from 2011

And your argument doesnt even make sense considering Rahm Emmanuel is the mayor of Chicago and not any of the black candidates. (of course, even if they were it wouldnt make your point)
