Insurance is a financial contract whereby premiums are commensurate with risk. Medicaid is welfare.

Unless I'm mistaken, we don't even know what line of work he is in. He could very well pay his employees a "fair" wage and they still qualify for subsidies.
Why should anyone be forced to subsidize the healthcare or life of someone else via taxes? That isn't the purpose of taxes, that's slavery.

You didn't answer the question.

Again, what is a "fair" wage in your opinion for his business?

Ask Reagan, in 1986 he mandated hospitals could not turn folks away over money/lack of insurance.

I have no idea, I don't know what kind of business he's in but if he's got 8 employees and he needs the gov. to subsidize their health insurance premiums with our tax dollars it can't be a very successful business. It seems like a left wing guy like mlassoff should take pride in paying his employees a fair wage which would allow them to afford health insurance... but then again left wing fools never pay their bills or pay for their plans.

Ronald Reagan is dead, but that doesn't really answer my question.

Why should Americans be forced to subsidize the health care of others with their tax dollars?

Hundreds of thousands of Walmart workers receive government benefits. Is Walmart not a "successful business?"

He never said he "needs" anything. He said it has saved him money. Something many small business owners are saying. Those are the "job creators." Let's reduce their burden, right? Who cares where it comes from, they are the "job creators."

Until 1986, they didn't have to. Ronald Reagan mandated it via an EO. Since than , hospitals have received billions from the government to treat those unable to pay.

It's a tiny part of government expenditures.

WalMart is quite profitable but it's in many cases a horrible employer.

It saved him money personally by pushing the cost of his employee's healthcare on to the American tax payers.

Which is why the base would never support Reagan today. I used to be a Reagan Republican. Now I am now a RINO.
