there was resentment and hate before integration, but also inequality and injustice.

Why is it natural for people of different races not wanting to have prom together. What is the purpose of having a black prom and a white prom. And you don't see anything wrong with this?

Now I know how you're going to respond. You're probably going to say something like "blacks had the disadvantage and worse schools".

However this isn't true. Many blacks who went to segregate schools were pretty much equal in education with their white counterparts. Enough credible economist and social scientist have shown this. Even many blacks who were around back then are still alive and will actually admit that they had better schooling then their kids, who were forced into integration. I'm a black man who is fortunate to have grand parents who lived during that time.

Also when schools were integrated, were there any additional studies that empirically showed that the mental condition of blacks improved? I'm willing to bet that study doesn't exist.

Clearly that bogus ruling was part of an agenda to force integrate the schools. And all integration really did was destroy the black community. And to be honest with you, they only integrated America so white corperations could get black money. The problem with segregation, blacks had a lot of spending power, and were only spending it with black business owners. That was a lot of American dollars not going to white corporations at the time. So don't be surprised if that was the real reason behind integration.
of course it was more psychologically taxing on black children. it wasn't equal separation, it was an apartheid, a castes system.

can you provide some sources for your claims?

Any one of any race can join any one of these organizations. The focus will be on attempting to deal with the problems of the black under class. Any thing wrong with that?

The "destruction" of the black family is due to the same root causes that is now "destroying" the white family. The loss of unskilled jobs, rendering men to be unable to be bread winners.

When Moynihan raised the issue of increasing out od wedlock births among blacks it was 23%. It is now 30% among NON HISPANIC whites.

There has also been a massive growth in the black middle class, and a huge increase in the numbers of blacks over 25 who have completed high school and college. Indeed between 1980 and 2000 the numbers of blacks in college DOUBLED.

What destroyed many of the businesses located in many inner cities was the wave of highway construction that occurred in the late 50s and early 60s. Many commercial strips were wiped out and highways running through the middle of these communities fragmented them.

If you are proud that in 1960 the USA was the most bigoted country in the world, aside from South Africa, and that both Hitler and the USSR made much of that, you are welcome. Hitler wanted to know why the fuss about his behavior, given that Germany PRISONERS of war were treated better than blacks in most of the USA during WWII. And segregation was enforced using state sanctioned violence. Indeed even the Japanese were forcefully put into prison camps, even as Germans in the USA weren't. Seems like those ovens were the only thing missing in the USA in the 40s.
