That would be correct, which is why the government isn't going after him, his business associates are, which is something they have the right to do based off the rules and bylaws of the NBA that Sterling agreed to.

Which is exactly what happened.

I think this whole PC environment of "YOU OFFENDED ME, THEREFORE, YOU MUST BE PUNISHED" has gotten out of hand.

This was the case long before anyone came up with the acronym, "PC."

Sometimes, behaving like a jerk, even though it isn't illegal, can still carry consequences.

But feel free to write to the NBA commissioner and plead Sterling's case.
