It's the same thing you guys always say, local temps are just the local weather, while claiming temps recorded in the Arctic are somehow global. While at the same time, any measurement of warm temps, anywhere on the planet is proof of man-made global warming, while cold temps are also, "just the weather."

Why lie? I have never said any such thing....
Do you lie because you have no evidence at all to dispute the fact that the earth is heating up...If you have such evidence why not share it?

the poles dictate the tilt and the spin.

The "geographic" poles are associated with tilt and spin not the "magnetic" poles.

Sometimes I wonder where the confusion is. Its like he quotes Global and mentions a country

You do know that there are other countries on the globe than the united states

here is the global (not US) temp change

I like the pretty "pause" at the end of the graph!

A large section of the mighty West Antarctica ice sheet has begun falling apart and its continued melting now appears to be unstoppable, two groups of scientists reported on Monday. If the findings hold up, they suggest that the melting could destabilize neighboring parts of the ice sheet and a rise in sea level of 10 feet or more may be unavoidable in coming centuries. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/05/13/sc...tists-say.html

Another, more plausible answer might be increased volcanism under the west coast of Antarctica.

Active Volcano Discovered Beneath Antarctica 'Will Melt and Destabilise Ice Sheet' if it Erupts

Ice-loss moves the Earth 250 miles down; but...
something else had to be happening to be pushing the solid Earth up at such a phenomenal rate

Interesting, and this is not good news.... The South Pole, contains about 90 percent of the world's ice (and 70 percent of its fresh water). Antarctica is covered with ice an average of 2,133 meters (7,000 feet) thick. If all of the Antarctic ice melted, (not likely in the near future) sea levels around the world would rise about 61 meters (200 feet).
