Cuts to the chase? Bullbleep. All that article does is focus on those who commented that, in their opinion, the guy should have suffered. It in no way addresses the many other opinions in which people simply weren't shedding tears for someone who committed such a heinous offense.

BTW, like me, there are plenty of us who feel that having to execute a fellow human being who has proven that he cannot live among the rest of us is no cause for celebration, but that it's needed to secure the safety of the innocent. We also feel that, because it's a sad day when we have to resort to that, the gleeful "fry" signs of yesteryear have no place today, either.

Get your facts straight.

That cuts to the chase. Those barbaric people cheering would have loved watching Christians fed to Lions.

If we are going to use the dp, we also must insure it is not via barbaric means. That should not be seen as a herculean endeavor in the 21st century.

I don't believe that. It's one thing to post a comment like that, but entirely different to watch people suffer like that. It may have been more tolerable in a violent time and place like the Roman Empire or the Middle Ages, but not in this current age of reason. I know people will dispute that this is an age of reason, but it's the cleanest and least violent time in history, at least in the West.

That is not possible. Any society that thinks it is a good idea for their government to execute its own citizens is by definition barbaric, not to mention incredibly stupid and naive.

One has to have an IQ at room temperature or less to trust any government anywhere on the planet not to abuse the authority to kill its own citizens. Particularly when the President is executing American citizens without due process on a whim.

"Computer says nah"

What American citizens are being executed by the President "without due process on a whim", as you claim?

The answer is zero.
