How can you"burn" a living, ever changing constitution? I like to think that the founding fathers weren't so set in their ways, that even they "themselves" couldn't see a point in time where what they thought to be "truth" might be debated.
The leftists get wet in their pants thinking about us becoming the USSA ... Oh how short term their memory is not remembering what the USSR was like. Heh.
The factual data shows no correlation between gun control and crime rates. Given that, there must be an alterior motive for "gun control". That motive is to disarm the citizens, just as they did in the USSR and Nazi Germany, to enable the government to impose its will, unchecked.
The rush to ban/limit guns is completely irrational and defies logic, as these measures do not accomplish the stated goal. Such actions are analagous to self flagellation in the Middle Ages in an effort to curb the Bubonic Plague. Why don't liberals just self flagellate instead?
The left does not hate "guns"', they hate the rampant and senseless violence that are the product of gun violence. They put the value and safety of the living above uncontrolled gun proliferation.

The only way to change the US Constitution is with Amendments. Period!
The trend in the last century is to change it from the judicial bench, with precedent law trumping constitutional law.
Government adding agencies to make laws that violate the US Constitution. Then our own congress also passes unconstitutional laws that are never challenged, to the full extent.
As a lefty liberal Democrat I LOVE this kind of OP.....it makes Republicans look so extreme, with "distortions" ( the "left" don't all hate guns) and hate (they're favorite talking point .....
