Do you deny the people of Hawaii the right to have their own state laws? If Hawaiians think this is necessary then it's their right to have such a law. Don't be a big brother.

Well golly gee - Harrier walked to and from school in K-12 and often it was much longer than a mile!
His parents are apparently criminals!
If the judge really wants to make the children safe from pedophiles, maybe they shouldn't be allowed in the state of Hawaii.
When I was 6 or 7 I irritated my Mother so much that she put me out of the car and told me to walk home (Aina Haina to Portlock). It was around 6 miles. She did not, however leave me alone; she turned on her hazard lights and crawled home with me in sight the entire time.
Bad things can happen and a parent may mete out punishments as long as the parent is there to ensure the safety of the child.
This wasn't exactly a punishment.
The kid was supposed to spend some time alone thinking about what he did so that he could tell his father.
Harrier doesn't know about you, but he thinks better during and after a walk, or a long run.
More oxygen flowing to the brain does wonders for cognition.
Next thing you know, the war in Iraq will be considered a "liberal" war .
It was approved with Democrat votes, not Republican. The Republicans did not have enough votes to pass the resolution. Democrats put it over the top. It's something that Democrats like to ignore these days, but the voting records are there. It was not a liberal war and was not a conservative war. It was bipartisan.
Don't give Harrier that "she was appointed by a Republican" nonsense - Harrier already demonstrated that the party of an executive does not necessarily correlate to the political ideology of a judge.
Besides, there are liberal Republicans (also known as RINO's).
If there weren't, the Tea Party wouldn't exist.
You're such a blowhard it's funny. Busting out that no true Scotsman fallacy now? Give it a rest and just stop embarrassing yourself.
But why? Since harrier doesn't live in Hawaii what does he care what laws Hawaiians chose to put in?
Harriers acts like a crank with way too much free time.

He can be critical of them, and/or their interpretation.

What is your opinion on states that have laws which uphold marriage as a union between a man and a woman?
If you are critical of such laws - then answer your own question.
