No, violent criminals are a cancer on American society, and those who support treating them as "victims" of that society are worse. A gun is a tool. Nothing more. No more good or evil than the person holding it. When facing a violent predator you must be ready to do violence on him, or he certainly will to you. Does taking my means of defense change that equation? No. It just brings about only one possible solution, and that is that evil wins. Every time.

This sounds less like liberal anti-gun hysteria and more like conservative zero-tolerance hysteria taken too far.

Seems to me more like violent criminals are the cancer...let's just say if overnight you eliminated all the firearms in the country, do you think it will end all the violence...not a chance. Eliminate all the violent criminals and look at that , no more violence. Sadly it is much more complex and virtually impossible to fix.

in the end out tax code needs a severe overhaul, but that will never happen with either party in power.

why you evil gun runner you.
According to "The Tax Foundation" (a conservative organization) the "Buffet Rule" would result in $36.7 billion per year in additional tax revenue ($367 billion over the next decade.)

But I guess (you) are America's leading expert in tax revenue results from new laws.

Chad.

no but i understand human nature, and i do understand business, and how to legally avoid paying taxes. even the tax foundation, conservative or not, follows the same rules the congressional budget office does when they have to score tax laws, and that is that they cannot use a dynamic economic model, they have to by law use a static economic model, and as such the liberals use that as the basis of being to say, see even the CBO agrees that increasing taxes by 30% will increase revenue. and then reality sets in six months down the road when tax revenues drop, and everyone wonders why, and then blames a down turn in the economy, or blames the other party because they wont pass what ever bill they want.

even obama admitted that increasing taxes would not increase revenue in 2010, an dhe said he didnt care, he wanted to "punish the rich and make them pay their fair share".

good, now maybe the parents will give their child a real education by homeschooling their child.
the only way to save our children is to stop sending them to public schools and homeschool them instead.

Public school is pushing an agenda. That agenda is warping our kids. This complete pacifistic and gender norming thing has created a social monster. Boys will be girls and girls will be boys is what they are pushing in an attempt to tune violence out of human nature. Mainly with male children. They want boys to follow socially re tuned role models. Instead of David Crockett, they want idolozation of men like Harvey Milk. Just a general example, to show how "heroes" and the causes and methods these heroes fight with are being restructured.

A hero who had to fight with weapons a d martial skill is to be disdained as "unenlightened" and a primitive. Social reformers and "activists" are to be revered. Uh huh. That's a tough game for little boys at recess. But that's what they want to see. A boy who dreams of carrying a flintlock into the wild with an eye on the far, blue mountains, and a girl who may want to play as his partner in the adventure must be scolded and taught better than having such fantasies. Why...the very idea of such sexist and backwards dreams! The horror!!

Rather, they need to be role playing a "modern" mindset, of stay at home Dad and CEO Mom, who is active in women's issues . Wtfe. Boys need to realize, and girls must be conditioned, to believe that girls are the complete superiors is all things. Mental and physical, and that "traditional" male/female relationships are a primitive concept. No play at guns or swords, no reading of backwards stories about the frontier days or sailing the seas fighting pirates. Much to violent.
