Well, MY astronaut and commander of the International Space Station, Chris Hadfield, says there is climate change, and he can kick your astronaut's butt.
Considering Walt Cunningham is now 82 that's seems probable.
It doesn't really matter if the planet is warming or cooling or if the oceans are becoming too acidified to support life...once the honeybees are gone, we've got 4 years before global famine wipes us out.

I don't think so....I have a flowering hedge that is full of bees every spring, but I haven't seen a honey bee on it for four years...The lack of honey bees have given more opportunity for several species of bumble bees, carpenter bees and other pollinators.
There is no "standstill." Average temperatures are still rising (dare to look at honest graphs) but more heat is going into the oceans than expected. Oceans absorb about 90% of the heat anyhow. Surface temperatures just make more headlines and are more readily felt. But again, the total heat content of the Earth IS rising.
What exactly do you think is causing all that ice to melt, if not more heat in the system? Let me guess, you'll claim that polar and glacial ice isn't melting. That's called a lie, but round and round the denial merry-go-round goes.

>>> I've seen more honeybees in the yard this year than probably the last 5 or 6. That's a good sign.
But it would be nice if we could get some global warming alarmists to put politics aside and get interested in actual environmental issues. GMO needs to be looked at closely.
