Justme305, why didn't you just say from the beginning that you hate Jews? Why all the nonsense about this "not having anything to do with the United States"? All of a sudden you are worried about the Gaza residents? But you said earlier that it was none of our business. So the only logical conclusion is that in your mind it IS our business when a palestinian gets killed, but not when the person killed is an American citizen…if that American citizen is a Jew, of course. You probably would feel different if it was a Christian or a Muslim.

What I've found over time is that for the most part, it is the bottom of society that hates jews/Israel; the unsuccessful, the unhappy, the miserable - all looking for an easy scapegoat to blame.
If this bottom-feeding filth actually gave a sh-t about the gazan arabs, when are they going to protest against hamas' horrible rule? There is no freedom of press or assembly in gaza, the school curriculum is obscenely racist, the public has no recourse against hamas as the scheduled elections are years overdue as hamas will not allow them as they know they will lose, there are summary executions and imprisonments without trial, christians are being ethnically cleansed, liberty is non-existent, the people have zero civil rights - BUT - when Israel responds to rocket fire, THEN this filth will scream out on behalf of their beloved gazan arabs, but not a second before. Wonder why that is

I think the Israelis are more "back against the wall" types than "tigers". The US and Russia tend to be "Tigers" but if you pull our tail hard we will run home.

As to Israel being held accountable; Where are are ALL the resolutions against Muslim/Arab countries who've done even worse to it's actual citizens?
Notice how not a single one of the bottom-feeders ever complains about the horrific treatment of non-arab muslims by arab muslims in countries; there are dozens of groups of non-muslims being horrifically oppressed, murdered, terrorized, ethnically cleansed, etc., by arab muslims - but never a peep from them.

It's the other way around. Every time a Israeli does something to a Palestinian, the UN spits out a few resolutions. Yet when its the other way, the UN says and does nothing.

That's just it. Look, there are some people out there who speak out against injustice everywhere, and I respect those people. They are legitimately concerned. I may not always agree with them, but I respect them and try to listen to what they have to say with an open mind. But the majority of these anti-Israel protestors ONLY care about what Israel is doing. Everyone else is overlooked by them, and that is suspect at the very least. How can you take THOSE people seriously?
The only way to stop this kind of thing (politically inspired kidnapping) long-term is the Russian solution: refuse all demands, find the kidnappers' relatives and close friends and either use them to ransom back the original victims or if it's too late for that just brutally and publicly murder them.
Give an inch and it just encourages the behavior. In a way this is partially the Israelis' fault for giving in to past ransom demands.
