'The problem is, what do you do?' Barletta continued. 'For those that say impeach him for breaking the laws or bypassing the laws — could that pass in the House? It probably could.'"

"'Is the majority of the American people in favor of impeaching the president? I’m not sure about that.'
"'I don't think so,' the Pennsylvania radio host can be heard telling Barletta in audio of their conversation captured by Buzzfeed's Andrew Kaczyinski." Barletta made the comments during a discussion on illegal immigration after Sutton argued that the president wasn't 'faithfully executing the laws of this country. Well we have a president that has taken this to a new level,' Barletta said of Obama's actions before explaining how he thinks impeachment proceeding would hypothetically play out in the House."

Looks like there's a storm coming straight for the White House. This, combined with the Majority of the American Public wanting President Obama out of the white house (About that Wall Street Journal poll: Is the public saying Obama's presidency is over? | WashingtonExaminer.com), and the impeachable offenses he has done, it's only a matter of time before we get a new President. Joe Biden was involved in the scandals too so he will also be impeached, the whole administration will be.

Bon Voyage Obama! Can't wait to meet our new President!
The senate would never convict so it is a waste of political capital

Actually it would be political suicide and might even threaten the control of the House as well as guarantee a Senate disaster.

One hopes sometime that the Republicans will commit hari kari...but they have a few people left who can think unfortunately.

Question:

when is this going to happen?

You posted this opinion one month ago and I don't see any articles of impeachment drawn up yet.

Are you sure if the House of Representatives votes to draw up articles of impeachment the US Senate will vote to convict the president and remove him from office?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Do you really not see it?
So you are upset that he uses the abilities of the Executive Branch to do the same things past presidents have done?

So, did he run out of ink? how about using those same abilities to solve the border crisis? He has a pen and a phone, remember?

Seems he only uses them when it's convenient for him. The rest of the time he blames Congress.

Oh, this is rich. You are actually asking the President to use executive orders to solve the border crisis? Seriously? Why, so you can immediately ***** and moan about it afterward? Because of course, that's exactly what would happen should he go that route.

Congress refuses to act, they berate the president for not doing anything, but will ream him should he decide to act without them because they refuse to work with him. It's the new Conservative definition of "governing."

Yes, he will. Unless the House starts the process soon, he'll be out before they can get to a trial. It takes a long time -- as much as 18 to 24 months -- to get an impeachment rolling. He'll be out in 26 months. This is why they are talking about it, fundraising on it, but not doing anything about it.

An impeachment will only hurt the GOP because Americans are essentially a very fair-minded people. If they see the GOP attempt to railroad for no good reason the president that they elected, Americans won't be happy with the GOP. We saw it with Clinton. We saw something similar play out in Wisconsin. Nobody was too crazy about Walker but they had elected him and didn't want that election overturned.

We agree....

There would be no point to a rhetorical impeachment.

Indeed, another right winger determined to get Obama regardless of what the facts really are.

Facts are irrelevant when you already have decided you hate someone.
