Thats right. Much looser gun laws.
That is the difference? Well then, Chicago should get the same gun laws as Houston and it should magically fix their problems.

The majotity of this weekend's shootings were once again black on black crimes, boys and young men shooting other boys and young men. Some of it is gang related and some appears to be random shootings.
And then there's the added aspect of alcohol infused shootings because someone left a drink in a plastic cup on the hood of a car. The car owner became enraged and began shooting into the crowd. One onlooker with a CC permit shot back and got him.
Again. Houston doesn't have near the problems leftist run Chicago does. Its no coincidence

If they had the same gun laws, maybe they would ENFORCE the gun laws. I suspect that is the biggest issue for the difference in the 2 cities.

we dont need MORE laws or more restrictions. We just need to enforce the laws that we already have.

Obviously, liberalism isnt working in Chicago.

flat out lie. Maybe its ignorance because you believe the media script in place.

The left would ABSOLUTELY confiscate every gun they could if they were allowed to get away with it.

Maybe thats not you, but lets not be naive here.

This is suppose to be a discussion about gun control. However, Why always Chicago being the example used? What about Baltimore and Newark? Oakland? All of these cities have murder rates worse than Chicago and have very strict gun laws.

People of Chicago really do not care otherwise they would have held
elected officials accountable.

It all boils down to two facts that gun control proponents
have not been able to address:

(1) There is a direct relationship between restrictive gun control laws and increased crime. Almost all gun control laws have been statistically proven to be linked to increases in crime.

(2) Criminals by definition do not obey the law. Using a firearm to harm another is already illegal.
Proponents might want to spend more time thinking about the facts, and less time writing about feelings that won't fix the problem.

I don't think anyone told Obama yet. Once he finds out he will call a summit with some of the best and brightest...Joe Biden will chair the summit...a few Silicon Valley and Hollywood types ..

Yeah, I am sure it is just the gun laws that make Chicago a rough city in some neighborhoods.

Well this liberal has no interest in taking away your guns unless you give me a good reason. And this liberal votes for politicians that have no interest in taking away your guns. That means the ones that would want to take away your guns would never have the votes to do it.

That is just called reality.

Barack Hussein Obama has pointed out that he was a total newcomer and had absolutely no experience at anything except community organizing, You get what you voted for

For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

Then why does NYC have a below average crime rate? Strict gun laws here means that crime should be rampant.
