Most large companies become bloated and MS is no exception. The new CEO is shaking things up for better or worse. It's going to inflict a little pain around here and I hope some of my family working there don't get cut.
Either way, that's a large number. This is a horrible economy for the unemployed -- I feel for these people.
True, it is sad. a good portion of these people were making good money and with low paying jobs leading the employment numbers month after month I would not want to be them. Lets hope many people do not have to step down to hard and make 10 to 12 bucks an hour with no benefits and Obamacare to pay for. Yep ,going from Microsoft to that is a real kick in the Jimmy.
Good statist that Gates is, should run microsoft into the poor house and have his friends in government bail him out. Everyone keeps their job, the policians get a new company to run their way and the taxpayers are ensured a continued shack on the plantation.
Let's wait and see how the media covers this in comparison to when Mitt Romney's company bought and consolidated companies.
Lol. Victimization everywhere, right?
It's the top story on just about every news outlet-- Yet, at the time, we never heard a word about Mittens' layoffs.
I'm sure you'll still find a way to feel victimized, you poor thing.
