This is a revenue neutral tax and just becsue you have lower income taxes means nothing if your paying more for goods. All expenses are passed onto the consumer, you're paying for it one way or the other.
That's right we are paying extra at the pumps, but 100% of the extra we pay is returned through reduced taxes, plus it encourages us to use less fossil fuels, and that puts additional money in our pockets....Any criticism of our carbon tax is 97% sour grapes, because it WORKS.
