Definitely not a fan of the Administration... but honestly - what do you really expect to happen here?
I'm sure if she appeared before the blockade was set up, they would let her through... but once the street is blocked and people are in place - she is just going to have to wait.
If it was a funeral procession - the same thing would happen.
The one thing Obama excels at as president is campaigning. To cover up his glaring faults he will need to campaign more and more - so get use to blocked streets as he campaigns non-stop.
Not an Obama fan but this is out of his hands. He's the president of the United States, he is in California, accomodations need to be made for a presidential visit, local media typically provide information to the public re: presidential visits and how it will impact local travel.

Under normal circumstances I'd agree, but not for a medical condition like this. They could have let her through instead of waiting 30 minutes in the hot LA sun on a bus stop bench.

It's not going to happen. If it was Bush - the liberals would complain - but it would be the same answer. She ain't getting through.
Now she did not have to sit in the sun. Why didn't someone usher her into the building behind the bus stop?
