What is your take?
What a stupendous idea!
Instead of two dead multiple murderers/child rapists, we now have one, AND he gets $5 million in taxpayer money plus amnesty so he could kill/rape again.
Didn't think this through, did you?

Forcing people to battle to the death against their will? That's pretty sickening.

Not to mention the look on peoples face if Charlie Manson won and came to a neighbourhood near them. Not so cool then.

You assume it would be taxpayer money, it would not be...

Well we have a death row system that is wasting millions ever year, did you think of that?

Strictly by choice, not force to fight at all.

It costs $90,000 to keep an inmate on death row for one year. He'd have to be on death row for over 55 years to total five million.
Average stay on death row is 15 years.
Did you think of doing the math?

Gunlover seems to think it doesn't make economic sense to spend $1.35 million to keep an inmate on death row for 15 years. It's better to give them $5 million and amnesty.
Damn, they really don't teach anything at those American schools, do they?

How many? What difference does it make?
Again...and I'll type verrrrry slowly....average length of stay on death row is 15 years, at a cost of $1.35 million.
You want to give them $5 million and set them free.
