This poll says it all, not that Obama cares what we the people want.
Poll: 68% Disapprove of Obama on Illegal Immigration; Plurality Oppose Border Bill
That's fine it's his party that will suffer but the House should pass a bill.

Lol this is a great post. Cruz has burn so many bridges in the Senate he's been reduced to throwing monkey wrenches in the House. It's time for Boehner to handle him once and for all.

Anywho, he wants this very same bill attached to the Democrats bill after which he will agree and cooperate with the $3.7 billion dollars. Sure thing, I'm not buying it. Do a stand alone bill or better yet wait for the real immigration bill. This Republican bill is a crisis bill only.

There seems to be a lot of ignorance in this thread. You don't pass bills just to get a bill passed. He has a damn good reason to oppose it and I suggest you people educate yourselves.

We didn't send him to Washington to make friends.
He is doing exactly what he said he was going to do, to get elected.

I wouldn't consider legislation or executive order by the Bozo in Chief or the sideshow we call a congress as even worth bothering with. The border crisis needs to be handled on a state and local level.

Cruz’s huddle is the latest example of the combative freshman senator wading into House affairs and serving as an informal whip against the leadership’s immigration position, and is also a direct shot at Boehner’s effort to pass his legislative package, hours before the bill is scheduled to come to the House floor on Thursday."

I wish I could say I feel sorry for Boehner, forced to not only deal with his own recalcitrant lunatics in the House, but having to fend off the likes of Cruz again and again as well. But I just can't muster up any sympathy for the Speaker. He has created his own mess in the House by giving in again and again to the crazies on the far right. This is what he gets. They own him now.
Another example, of many, that shows the repubs are NOT as described by the liberals as ALL walking lock step together aka, sheeple.

" Cruz needs to learn to compromise a little."

I think you should tell that to, "No compromise", Obama and Reid. Leaders are SUPPOSED to lead.

A freshman Senator openly undermining the Speaker of the House is a sure way to not get anything he wants done. Unless his goal isn't to govern but rather to rise his star. Or he's been watching House of Cards and fancies himself to be a Frank Underwood type tactician, which he clearly isn't. A Frank Underwood that somehow manages to miss the point of a children's book, but that's another matter.

Cruz is a man that would be King. He can be predicted but never trusted. The Republicans have figured this out. Boehner is way beyond his ability to do his job and is flailing at all manner of Republican Causes instead of doing what the country needs done.
