Just as the title of the thread says: Name at least ONE policy outcome in which Barack Obama led the way. Tell us where you feel the President has been a decisive leader, where you felt the outcome was such that it would not have happened if Barack Obama had not exerted true leadership.
For the purposes of this discussion, we'll go ahead and knock Obamacare and Osama Bin Laden out of the way. After nearly 6 years as President, I think we can all accept that there would/could/should be more than just these two events in which the President can take credit.
But what are they?

I have an excellent examples of President Obama's leadership, getting Congress to end don't ask don't tell,
His executive orders that children brought here before 2007 won't be deported if they follow certain guidelines.
His leadership on breaking conservatives from holding the government hostage over raising the debt ceiling or funding the government.
He, and I said this at the time, punked conservatives on shutting down the government.
conservatives were making all these demands about what they were going to get in return for doing what both Democrats and conservatives said had to be done which was funding the government, instead they got nothing the second time around.
He also punked conservatives on raising the debt limit. Again conservatives said they were going to get all of these concessions to do what conservatives said had to be done which was pay America's bills, and they got nothing.
Also the auto bailouts, conservatives were howling about what a failure it was going to be. He went ahead anyway and took them over.
Getting the consumer protection agency created through the Dodd Frank financial regulation bill that was passed.
Setting tough EPA standards to regulate carbon emissions.
Or maybe you don't have any idea what a true liberal is because you don't have any. What makes you right and Americans wrong? You judge the people in your country and let us judge the people in our country. Sound fair?
