The article didn't mention the girl being armed (that's pretty important; if she was, it wasn't properly addressed in the article). The article said she was intoxicated. It also had suggested she was in a car accident, likely due to the intoxication.

All I did was read the article.

Sorry Lycos, you answered for the other poster and I didn't see that before I replied.
My point was everyone is so quick to say he wasn't in danger after the fact. At that time he had no clue what was going on .
I have a hard time believing he thought he was in danger. However, if you are so disoriented that you don't know what is going on you really have no business walking around with a gun. I just have a hard time imagining that a knock at 5 am = threat.

SMH, who knows. I'm just going to chalk this up to another old white guy scared of black people.
