"The worst thing the black liberal community ever did for themselves since civil rights was become an automatic puppet vote for the democrat party. When a politician can take your vote for granted as if its a freebie, then you will NEVER be the focus of beneficial change." –Wayne Dupree

Being a democrat or a republican has no bearing on how much of a racist a person. Them being a racist does.

Well in my opinion neither Democrats nor Republicans are racist.

We have a black man sitting in the white house. The richest woman in the nation is a black woman. The highest ranking general in our armed forces was a black man. Our highest ranking diplomat in the nation was a black man.

But the rampant institutionalized racism of the country is keeping the black man down? Come on.

It's like insisting that someone believe 2+2=5. It's self evidently ridiculous to take a nation with a black president and claim that nation is rampantly racist. The only way it works is by playing on emotion and getting people to disengage their rational reasoning to get an emotional payoff. That payoff either being to absolve yourself of your own shortcomings by blaming your problems on discrimination, or to see yourself as morally superior and enlightened by being so tolerant and compassionate in a world of prejudice.

Both Republicans and Democrats are racist? You do realize that both Republicans (Herman Cain) and Democrats ran black candidates for president in 2012, don't you? Why would racists put forward a member of the race they discriminate against to be their leader? Use some common sense.
