I see Opinionated doesn't have a response.

Can't live with us, can't live without us, eh?

America, love it or leave it!

Wow, that was the worst attempt at sarcasm/humor I've seen in some time.

Isn't that similar to the guy with the broken wrist asking the guy with the broken arm to come in that day to do the work?

No amount of discussion is going to change the way people think.
Some humans are racist some are not, it is that simple

The government/corporate fascist system spends a lot of time and money to insure that not only does racism exist but that it is constantly supported and reinforced.

This situation in Ferguson is a perfect example. The vast majority of the news coverage is on the minority of people who are looting instead of the huge majority who are peacefully protesting injustice.

Why?

Because they want to use this incident to increase white peoples fear of black people. They want to support any prejudice they may already have and to create fear and prejudice in people who may not have any.

The government and corporate interests do everything possible to keep the people divided by race, by religion, by politics, by sex, by State, by economic status, and by every other means possible to drive wedges between people and to keep them from uniting to stand up against the people who repress and exploit them.

The sad part is the ignorant people fall for it time after time after time.

This country will never be one and will remain divisive and it's probably better that way.
Are you sure that is what you want? The more divisive things get, the more things do not get done properly.

[quote=Opin_Yunated;36272932]"I am sick of hearing about racism. Every other week blacks are screaming racism! Just excuses for everything!"

Yea, well I'm sick of living it.

Put up with the racism screams, work to improve race relations / conditions for minorities, or just shut up.

Simple - Stop being racist. If that is difficult than that is a personal issue. Hugs...

Humans, to a certain extent, are naturally racist. You identify more closely with people who are of the same race as you.....big deal.

For example, if a Black guy was watching 2 athletes that he knew nothing about, say 2 boxers having a boxing match. One of the boxers is Chinese and the other is Black.......which boxer do you think the Black guy is going to want to win, if not openly cheer for??????

Humans naturally want to feel superior to others, ego is natural. One way to do this is to identify with your specific racial group and cheer their accomplishments, big deal.

Racism is a lot like sexism.....men and women want to feel superior to each other.
