Rachel Maddow's documentary is about oil conspiracy dealing with the Iraqi invasion (Israel, Reagan)

I learned a lot. The oil narrative sounds compelling. However, I'm very skeptical of conspiracy theories. Did the Iraq invasion have anything to do with oil?

There absolutely must be some kind of hidden agenda for the invasion of Iraq. The GW Idiots administration's stated reasons for it are just so freakin stupid that it's just totally impossible to believe that the greatest power on Earth has a bunch of sub 80 level IQ people running things.

GWB was not an idiot. In fact far from it. He knew how to play one on television. But, he was no idiot. He knew exactly what he was doing. This whole Bush was a moron BS has got to stop. If there were no oil on the Arabian peninsula, the US reaction to Iraq's invasion of Kuwait would have been the same as the US reaction to Libya's invasion of Chad. Yeah, it was the oil.

However, a second factor to the invasion of Iraq was it's benefit to Israel. So far, Israel has been the only country that has gained from that war.

What did Israel have to gain from Iraq's demise? They basically had to sit their and take it while the SCUD's rained down on them. America does not invade countries for the benefit of Israel. The invasion happened for the benefit of American Multinational oil companies. There was no other reason.

Did the USA take over Iraq's Oil? NOPE
Did Dick Cheney or Halliburton take over Iraq's Oil? NOPE
Did Exxon, Chevron or any other US Oil company take over Iraq's Oil? NOPE

Was Maddow able to explain why none of the above happened? NOPE

The "narrative" always "sounds compelling" .... but the real key is to watch what happens (what they do) and NOT "what is said". HINT here .... who has the oil and it's not the USA.

The USA did NOT "occupy" Iraq, the USA did NOT "confiscate" (or even get many contracts oon) Iraq's Oil.
but ...... that's the Leftist 'story' and there is absolutely no way they can give it up. They are way too indoctrinated and invested in this narrative. It's an emotional thing with them, facts don't matter.

It's all they have. Team Bush has been gone since the end of 2008 and the Leftists (like Maddow) and those around here, can only live in the past in a desperate search for something/anything to protect our Feckless President, who has been in charge now for almost 6 years.

Consider this - the Mid-East is about to explode.
Libya, Syria, Israel, Iraq, Yemen, Jordan .... and then there is Africa with Ebola, Somalia, Kenya
Not to mention (and she doesn't) Russia attacks and annexes the Crimean Peninsula of Ukraine and then moves in to attack Ukraine. Passenger Jet blown out of the sky. Egypt, KSA & UAE are doing air strikes on Libya with out ANY heads up to the USA. Our Military says we are under an eminent threat by a group that is much more dangerous than al-Qaeda ever was. China is buzzing USA airplanes in International airspace and making noises about taking over Thailand and doing pushy-shovey with Japan.

And Rachel Maddow does a "documentary" about the most serious thing facing America and the world today ....... she thinks there is an "oil conspiracy" from the EvilBushHitlerCheney. Someone needs to spend $10 and get Maddow a calendar.
