Now to be fair, i'll admit that i'm just picking on Cantor and that his colleagues in both parties are no different than he is. But this is a REALLY high profile hire....Cantor's buttprint hasn't even risen up from his Congressional seat cushion yet and he's already comfortably ensconced in his multi-million dollar Manhattan Condo (so much for Virginia and that faux southern accent).
I'm just not convinced that these D.C. politicians even bother to take up the people's business anymore, unless "the people" are very, very wealthy.
Nevertheless, i know that Cantor has to make a living. So...whatever.
Its been a long time since DC was really working for the people. We need term limits and an end to lobbyists to start with if we're ever to change things.

The problem is most people aren't as smart as you. They just vote for whoever they're supposed to vote for based on their skin color, sexual preference, rhetoric or who they think is going to win. As long as people continue to vote for more of the same (i.e. Democrats & Republicans), then they should expect more of the same.

But what does that have to do with Democrats or Republicans ? can corrupt people not be Libertarians or Green Party or even independents ?????
Why does your first paragraph preclude me from reaffirming that Democrats work for big corporations?
Why would you need to "reaffirm" what i've already stated?
Damn playboy...i made it abundantly clear that Democrats work for big corporations when i said that Cantor's colleagues were no different than he is.
But you felt the need to run interference for Cantor by pointing out the obvious about his friends from the other side of the aisle. You WERE NOT attempting to reaffirm the notion that Dems work for corporate interests because you know damn well that we all know that. That's the frickin' point
If you're here to suck up to Cantor, just say so instead of playing silly games.
Why am I not shocked, Cantor was always a greasy politician who only had his best interest in mind. He was nothing more than an empty suit carpet bagger for the state of Virginia.

Skin color or sexual preference?
It's odd that you decided to stop there.
In fact, before 2008, there was never any suggestion that people were voting for candidates based on skin color.
Geez...i wonder why.
But this isn't about that. This is about who DOES manage to get elected, and frankly i couldn't care less about their color. Are they doing my business or not?
By the looks of this, i just don't think most are.
