[quote=jazzarama;36592665]Uh-Oh is right. You think there's political hay in 45 year-old letters from Hillary to a guy most voters never heard of ? That comes across as desperation to me and as effective as it was against Obama.
Um huh...just like Benghazi...what difference does it make to left wing idea-logs... Hillary Clinton's staff told to hide any documents that could make her inner circle look bad in aftermath of Benghazi, whistle-blower claims | Daily Mail Online

"Death panels!"

"BENGHAZI!!!"

"Saul Alinsky!"

hmm a very telling quote from alinsky

Hell, THAT should disqualify any candidate before any Alinsky book should..

She did more than read his book. She sent several letters to Allinsky confirming that she agreed with his political views and course of action for "radicals". She pined for MORE ALLINKSY MATERIALS.

I have read "Das Kapital", "Mao's Red Book", and "Mein Kampf". I don't agree with any of them, nor did I write letters to the political leaders in these areas to demand more material and information.

You are kidding yourself if you think this is not damaging to Hillary. It reveals what everyone suspected and is now confirmed by her own hand.

Alinsky tactics: Examples: Divide Americans (race, wealth, etc.). Never have a conversation with your adversary because that humanizes them, and your job is to demonize them. Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive. Make the other side become violent to gain sympathy. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate your target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions.
Most of these tactics are openly employed by conservatives, and on these very forums.

You missed this part:

She “agreed with some of Alinsky’s ideas,†Clinton wrote in her first memoir, but the two had a “fundamental disagreement†over his anti-establishment tactics.

She described how this disagreement led to her parting ways with Alinsky in the summer before law school in 1969.

And Alinsky wasn't a Marxist.

Alinsky's book isn't about Communism.

It's about organizing people and implementing strategies to effect change. Those strategies are used by EVERYONE.

So WHAT!

All of our presidents read the Bible and agreed with that too!!!

Alinsky's book is more outrageous than the notion that a man survived in the belly of a whale, parted the Red Sea, brought a man back from the dead, or turned one fish into millions?

You don't find it offensive that we have presidents who believed that stuff?

I don't care about her reading Alinsky's book. I care more that she believes in the Bible.

What bullet?

That Alinsky was a prominent Chicago community organizer, and that Hillary was from the Chicago area, so when she was in college she wrote a paper about him, and met with him and corresponded with him to gather information for her paper?

That Alinsky was not a Marxist?

That Alinsky wrote a book suggesting strategies to effect political change, strategies that are used by conservatives and liberals alike?
