No, because history shows that when we get involved with affairs of other countries militarily, it always comes back to bite us.
To this, I agree, we should think long and hard about arming the Syrian opposition forces, because as past history shows us those arms will soon be pointed at the U.S.
This Libertartian opposes ALL aid to the Middle East, be it military or financial! Time to get the Hell out of that region, and worry about our own house for once!
I don't support any "wars" that are not to protect our borders. This is not only an immoral excursion and act of aggression outside of our rightful boundaries, it is an immoral act of aggression into another nation. So, answer the question in the OP, Casper the Liberal Ghost. You support bombing ISIS....wonderful.....but do you support bombing them in Syria? Does that mean you'd support bombing any and every other country they infiltrate? How many wars of choice would you support Barack Obama entering into?
This is a false Argument. Based on the information President Bush and his Administration presented, he was right to go to war under multiple American doctrine laid out by many presidents before him.
We did not find out till later that the information was false.
If you are using the Iraq war as a case study, then your question shouldnt have been posted for another 3 years. After multiple analyzations by different institutions.
A false argument? If anything, it shows that Barack Obama has entered into a war of choice that shatters any boundaries set by George W. Bush in bombing Iraq.
