It's cultural expectations that say that a girl will be scarred for life while a boy will have a great time, but it's not reality. Boys need role models just as much as girls. Boys respect authority figures just as much as girls. Boys need to feel safe and secure with adults just as much as girls.

Oh, please. Ask any sane straight man if he thought he would have been harmed with sex at 16.

Edit. Correction. Ask any man, period.

If it was clear it was one-and-done I could see him bragging to his friends. If there was a chance for more I can't imagine why he would talk.
16 year olds aren't mature enough to think that far.

There's nothing inconsistent about feeling safe and secure with someone and having sex with them.

Some girls are harmed by sex at a young age, most aren't.

Some boys are harmed by sex at a young age, most aren't.

Question Two female Louisiana teachers accused of group sex with boy

Oh, man...

Where were the good looking hot-to-trot female teachers back in the 60s?

It was like this.

Depends on the sex acts performed.

Would it be damaging if both teachers were using strap ons?

It's still classified as sex between a man and a woman... The report doesn't clarify, but it's something that is not impossible.

How would you feel if your son experienced those apples?

Nobody denies he was a willing participant, so why should that be any different?

I guess the "give them condoms and let them have sex" crowd still have some hangups.
You can't cherry pick what is ok and what is not ok when trying to tear down the walls of what society viewed a taboo in the past.

I agree, albeit from the opposite perspective.

Double standards are most definitely NOT ok. But sex is.
