This is a huge problem for Conservatives. Asian-Americans are immigrating to the South in record numbers, and will have a heavy influence on the voting trends in that region, the heart of the GOP. Asian-Americans favor DEMOCRATS, recognizing that Republicans are and have traditionally been the party of bigots and people who discriminate against Asian-Americans and minorities. This is great news for the country.

Yes, asians are the fastest growing ethnic group, but still make up a very small part of the population (under 5%).
Many aren't even US citizens, and the ones who are prefer to avoid politics if they can even understand it.

Asians don't like to vote much if at all.

Listen, this is coming from a lifelong Democrat (even though I'm really starting to turn my back on what the party has become).

But to call Republicans "bigots" is an outright lie. Read a history book sometime. Abe Lincoln-Republican. Most of the worst racists in our history were Democrats and that is a fact.

That's an odd statement. Hasn't been my experience at all. Maybe it depends on exactly which asians you are talking about? Do you have some numbers from somewhere to back this up?

Yes, Asians vote pretty much in lockstep, approx 80%, for the Demorats. Demorats are going to own Texico in 8-10 years.....Hispanics are also lockstep-voters for the Demorats.

Most of the Asians moving into the south are from India that I can tell.

They usually are very conservative.

This is the first time I'm hearing having Asian-Americans in the South is a big problem for anyone. The question I have for Democrats is, "Why are they fleeing the blue states?" Oh wait, the Huffy Post doesn't mention it...

Are asians fleeing the blue states? Or are new immigrants choosing to settle in the south?

I have my issues with today's Republican Party, I guess I've become an independent since this Obama disaster but to call that party "bigots" is just ignorant.

The Republicans have much to be proud of in their history and much of it is standing up to oppression and bigotry.
